School Volunteer

If you are a WSDA member or work for a member dentist, we invite you to become a volunteer presenter at schools in your service area. We also welcome you and members of your dental team to help in remote areas of Washington that have no resident dental professionals. For more information about becoming a presenter, email your questions to wohf@wsda.org.

Adopt-a-School

Dental disease hurts. Children who have unmet dental needs often can't concentrate in class due to a problem that started out small, and left untreated, grew worse. Through the Adopt-a-School program, local dentists and school nurses team up to provide free emergency dental care for children in participating Title 1 schools.  For more information about adopting a school in your community, email your questions to wohf@wsda.org.

Community Events

WSDA member dental teams often are needed to staff information booths and interact with children and families through youth organizations and at community events like Minor League Baseball games, health fairs, mall promotions, rodeos and festivals. If you are interested in getting involved, email us at wohf@wsda.org.
